It was a grey, rainy Saturday in March 2008, that I visited this city first time. I came back with my camera many times until November 2013, to explore this small area in that mega-city.
I witnessed the transformation that happened and the face of the city changing so rapidly.
Shanghai (or in general my visits in China 2008 – 2013) changed me. I changed my view on the world, shuttered assumptions, made me understand what’s going on.
But also, I found my love in Shanghai.
These digital data were resting much too long on a hard-drive, being just potentially an image. I decided to bring them to life. And as I love analog – it will be a book, a book that is breeding now for almost two years (I’m slow).
